RECOMMENDATIONS TO AUTHORS
In order to unify the format of the submitted manuscripts to the Repères et Perspectives Economiques journal, authors are kindly invited to follow provided guidelines and rules of publishing.
The journal is committed to publish original articles that have not been subject to prior publication in completely or in part unless there is the consent of the first editor.
The article should be typed between 3000 and 5000 words, including bibliography, tables and graphs, in a half-spaced with margins of 35 mm and printed single-sided on A4 paper (210x297 mm²). The text must be written in Times New Roman font, size 12, and 10 at the bottom of page notes.
Titles shall be short, clearly defined, in bold, adjusted on the left and numbered as below: 1st title: 1; 2nd title: 1.1; 3rd title: 1.1.1; 4th title: 1.1.1.1.
The title page includes subsequently the title of the article, First name (s) and Last name (s) of the author (s) followed by contact information and affiliation (s).
The second page includes the article title, abstract and three to five keywords in MS word format. The abstract is provided in two languages (English and original language) and the JEL classification. The abstract of the article shall not exceed 150 words. In case a submitted manuscript is in Arabic or French, the author (s) shall provide a large abstract of 500 words in English.
Footnotes shall respect the continuous numbering starting on each page and cannot use of bibliographic references.
In the text, references appear between brackets with the name and year of publication, according to the cases presented below:
- One author: (Moriarty, 2014)
- Two authors: (Bechara & Damasio, 2019).
- More than two authors: (Damasio & al., 2018).
- Multiple materials of author (s), in the same year: (Veilleux, 2003a, 2003b)
- Organization with abbreviation: first citation: (World Health Organization [WHO], 2019); following citations: (WHO, 2019).
- In-text citation: According to a study done by Kent and Giles (2017), student teachers who use technology in their lessons tend to continue using technology tools throughout their teaching careers.
- Year mentioned in the text: In 2008, a study (Rousseau and Vallerand) demonstrated that [...].
- Several sources cited simultaneously: (Delage and Labrecque, 2015; Poulin, 2014; Veilleux et al., 2018).
- Citation with page indication: (Veilleux, 2018, p. 23).
The bibliography contains only the cited references in the article body. References shall be presented in alphabetical order of the first author. Each statement must be complete and accurate as the described models below:
