Le rôle de la migration internationale dans le processus de production de nouvelles dynamiques territoriales Le cas de la ville de Khouribga

The objective of this article is to study the impact and extent of the contribution of migrant actors in territorial development processes and their influence on the definition of socio-economic dynamics and new territorial restructuring. Many factors have contributed to an amplification of territorial change phenomena and socio- cultural life of Khouribga city. In recent decades, profound changes result from the strong involvement of migrant actors holding projects. In this context the phenomenon of migration in Khouribga reveals important dynamic reconfiguration and complexity, involving a redeployment of their resources and their social and spatial capital. Indeed, reconstructions take many forms in this case and relate to different territorial levels and different social groups. Emigration is an economic, social and political stake. The migrant is no longer someone in exile but has become a powerful lever for exchanges, a resourceful person and an actor of the territorial restructuring.
