Résumé
The learner’s school life is not composed only of a succession of academic levels, but it also contains branches that require decision-making. Based on an empirical research method, the present article aims to study how the learner interacts with the predefined educational and professional paths, by highlighting the potentials and constraints which characterize the Moroccan educational system and determining the decision-making process as well as the actors involved in it and monitoring the extent to which programs and curricula keep pace with learners. All this to provide learners with the tools and mechanisms that will enable them to rationalize their choices and, thus, their ability to build a personal, academic or professional project that responds to their individual aspirations and is compatible with their potential and with the opportunities available in their social context.
