بناء التمثلات المجالية في درس الجغرافيا بالتعليم المدرسي
Résumé
The topic of representations raises a profound debate among researchers in the fields of knowledge that employ it in its scientific issues. Contemporary geography has highlighted its importance and rendered it among its current concerns in school and university circles. The question of representations in geography is closely related to the subject of the field, since representations are an effective guide to individual perceptions and behaviors. In fact, among the objectives of teaching geography is to improve the representations that learners formulate about their field, and make them mediators for assimilating many geographical issues, especially those related to them. And because the interest in perceiving the field is a major component in studying representations, this article is going to focus on the axis of spatial representations in order to highlight its relevance to social representations through the trends and currents that were adopted by both cognitive and social psychology, which were led by Piaget and then Moscovici. In the view of the importance that spatial representations gain in school and university, the article extrapolates their functions in geography by reviewing the basic factors that relate to them in terms of language, expression, written drawing and playing.
