Metallic depollution of Wastewaters of a purification station by the sugarcane bagasse
Abstract
Abstract
In this work, we have valuated the sugarcane bagasse (SBC) in the metallic depollution of wastewater from the entry and the exit of the purification station of Dar El Gueddari (STEP) (Morocco).
After treatment of wastewater by the method of Just and Tauzin, the analysis by the atomic emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma (ICP-AES) shows that these effluents contain significant quantities of metal ions and may experience adverse effects on the environment.
The treatment of wastewater of the STEP of dar el Gueddari by sugarcane bagasse led to higher yields of removal of metal ions, and the total depletion of these discharges requires the characterization of all existing metal components to implement the optimal mass SCB required for this treatment.
