Delineation of protection zones around the dam Addakhil Hassan (South-eastern Morocco) remote sensingand GIS

Abstract

In this work, we try to Minimize contamination of surface water intended for human consumption and irrigation, for any type of pollution, through the realization of protection areas around the reservoir of Hassan Addakhil. Averaging remote sensing and GIS, so a computerized method, manageable and above all a method which includes the maximum of useful information in this regard, with easy and fast access to data enabling better resource protection and excellent management , the first axis is the characterization of the basin through various geological climate data, physico-chemical and hydrological translating them to a sort of easy to process and interpret information (curves, thematic map ...) .The second axis focuses on developing protection zones based on the degree of vulnerability extract different data already processed.
