Abstract
Thermodynamic parameters of enthalpy ΔH, entropy ΔS, and differential free energy (ΔG) for alkanes were determined for a new liquid-crystal stationary phase. The liquid-crystal was synthesized by successive steps and used as the stationary phase in inverse gas chromatography (IGC), IGC uses for determine their interactions of alkanes with the liquid-crystal in the different mesophases thermal.
