Résumé

The amount of wastewater rejected encourages farmers to use this water source. Also, richness on fertilizer such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, required for plant development and for soil fertilization, Saves the purchase of fertilizers and increases agricultural production.

In this context, we have proposed a treatment mixture model based on local materials from the Béchar region (Béni Abbes dune sand and the date palm petiole), in order to determine the Quality of wastewater before and after filtration by realization the bacteriological analyzes.

The primarily study permit to characterize domestic wastewater of Bechar’s valley. The analyzes have presented an important microbial charge exceeding the guidelines of the World Health Organization, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and agriculture.

Secondly, the study on filtered wastewater  have presented satisfactory purification yields for  different filters  and that is according  the Algerian standards of treated wastewater used for irrigation, with a total elimination of fecal coliforms, Streptococci ssp, Staphylococci ssp and sulfito-reducing Clostridiums in some filter , and a good reduction of total aerobic germs.
