Les tumeurs médiastinales chez l’enfant

Résumé


Les tumeurs médiastinales chez l’enfant constituent un groupe hétérogène de pathologies bénignes et malignes. La connaissance des différents compartiments du médiastin est fondamentale pour pouvoir établir l’enquête étiologique. Elles peuvent être de découverte fortuite comme elles peuvent être révélées par des symptômes engageant le pronostic vital. L’imagerie joue un rôle fondamental dans la démarche diagnostic. Les masses du médiastin antérieur sont dominées par les lymphomes et les tumeurs germinales, les tumeurs neurogènes sont les plus fréquentes dans le médiastin postérieur.
