Les infrastructures de transport en général et les ports en particulier constituent un support du développement des territoires. En même temps, leurs trafics reflètent la dynamique économique de ces territoires. Au niveau de Souss-Massa, le port d’Agadir exerce un effet structurant sur son arrière-pays régional. Son activité contribue au développement d’une économie extravertie et d’une littoralisation économique et démographique. Il est à la fois un facilitateur d’échanges contribuant à la structuration des réseaux terrestres, un outil d’attractivité économique pour les entreprises et un créateur de richesses à travers ses différentes activités (pêche, commerce, plaisance).

Abstract

Transport infrastructures in general and ports in particular constitute a support for the development of territories. At the same time, their traffic reflects the economic dynamics of these territories. At Souss-Massa, the port of Agadir has a structuring effect on its regional hinterland. Its activity contributes to the development of an extroverted economy and economic and demographic littoralization. It is both a facilitator of exchanges contributing to the structuring of land networks, a tool of economic attractiveness for businesses and a creator of wealth through its various activities (fishing, commerce, yachting).
