ملخص المقال باللغة العربية:

شهدت السنوات الأخيرة زيادة كبيرة في عدد الجرائم الالكترونية ومن بينها جريمة الابتزاز الالكتروني، إذ قام ضعاف النفوس بالحصول على المال أو الشهوة أو المعلومات بطرائق غير مشروعة  فأساؤوا استخدام التكنولوجيا الحديثة واستهدفوا أطفالا ومراهقين، رجالا ونساء بل وحتى شركات من خلال تهديد هؤلاء بنشر بيانات سرية ومعلومات خاصة أو مخزية على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي في حالة عدم إذعان الضحية لمتطلباتهم المادية أو المعنوية. لذلك كان من اللازم تكثيف الجهود لمكافحة هذه الظاهرة  بزجر المبتزين وحماية الضحايا من خلال توعيتهم وتمكينهم من كيفية حماية أنفسهم وبالتالي عدم الوقوع في فخ  هؤلاء المجرمين.

Abstract

In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of e-crimes, among this digital extortion. Some users managed to get money, lust, or access data through misusing modern technology by targeting infants, teenagers, men and women; and even companies. They target these people to distribute confidential, private data or any other compromising information on social network platforms unless they meet their monetary or moral demands. Consequently, it has become a must to make more efforts to combat this hazardous phenomenon by deterring blackmailers and protecting the victims by sensitizing them and teaching them how to defend themselves and thus not fall into the trap of these criminals.
