Résumé |
The objective of this article is to measure the impact of household poverty on child health based on geographic location, religion and social position in Cameroon. It uses the data from the MICS-5 in 2014 and mobilizes a logistic regression estimated by the Maximum Likelihood Method ajusted with the Mantel-Hanzel test, then a simple linear regression to measure the effect of household living conditions on the growth of children by discriminating them on the basis of socioeconomic and geographic variables. the result sobtained in the two approaches show that a low standard of living has a negative impact on the health status of children in Cameroon. |
