REPRODUCTION POLITIQUE LOCALE DANS ET PAR LES SPORTS DE MASSE A BAMAKO
Résumé
Nowadays, sports practices are used by economic, social, religious and political elites, making them real power issues. This politicization of grassroots sports is more observable at the local level and it is not uncommon to see former practitioners or promoters of these new sports practices become mayors, deputies and even ministers.. This study aims to analyze the impact of grassroots sports on the political trajectories of local political heirs. Following this logic, our methodology is divided into four main phases: I) literature search, II) field surveys, III) data analysis and interpretation and IV) scientific comparisons and discussions. The results allowed us to highlight the existence of profiles of politicians who are variously engaged from one trajectory to another in sports development, reflecting a multiplicity of forms of political socialization in grassroots sports.
