| 4. | Description | Résumé | This article analyzes the impacts of vulnerability linked to the terms of trade of Senegal's balance of trade, fluctuations in the exchange rate, gross domestic product per capita and corruption on the country's economic growth over the period from 1990 to 2021. The study carried out on an ARDL using time series econometric techniques reveals on the one hand, a positive relationship of GDP per capita on the country's economic growth in the short and long term. And on the other hand, a negative effect of the index of economic vulnerability, corruption and the exchange rate of the CFA franc on the economic activity of Senegal in the long term. To this end, we recommend the adoption of a much more protective outward-looking policy aimed at dealing with the instability of the dollar and already improving the business climate in order to encourage more investment and external financing through good governance actions and the fight against corruption. |
