FLUX MIGRATOIRES QUALIFIES ET ACCUMULATION DU CAPITAL HUMAIN DANS LES PAYS D’ORIGINE : VERIFICATION EMPIRIQUE POUR LES PAYS EMERGENTS

Résumé


The purpose of this paper is to show that "brain drain" can be a source of positive externalities and incentives for investment in the country of origin. In herein, our study contributes to the important literature, which still rare, on emigration of skilled brain on the homeland.

It starts from the theoretical prediction postulating that educational choices may depend on migration perspective. This statement has important implications. Our initial hypothesis on "brain gain" has verified.

            Indeed, our econometric investigations on students living in Morocco have confirmed the hypothesis of the accumulation of ex ante emigration’s human capital.
