Résumé

This paper is the first inventory of individual and collective behavioral influences on the demand for local care in Algeria. Long analyzed under the economic aspect, inequalities in health are today apprehended according to a multitude of sociological criteria, among them the individual and collective behaviors.

Through this article, consideration is given to taking into account these determinants in their different aspects; an imperative priority of the public health promotion policy in Algeria.
