CONTRIBUTION À L’AMÉLIORATION DES PRATIQUES DE SUIVI-ÉVALUATION DES PROJETS DE DÉVELOPPEMENT AU CAMEROUN : CAS DE LA MÉTHODE DE LA VALEUR ACQUISE
Résumé
This article aims to provide to Cameroonian development projects an additional tool to strengthen monitoring and evaluation models currently implemented, which improves the status analysis of the project by integrating financial information when performing programmatic data review. The Earned Value analysis has been designed with this objective but not used in development projects due to systems that are personalized and doesn’t allow integration with financial data. The major constraint of the method is the complexity of the deployment methodology. With technological development, several editors integrated Earned Value into their software to benefit from all the information generated without wasting time on all the calculations needed. An opportunity for the evaluators to have a more significant impact on the quality of decision-making within development projects in Cameroon.
