About the Journal

The Moroccan Journal of Quantitative and Qualitative Research (MJQR) is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing high-quality research that addresses contemporary social issues, development challenges, and societal transitions through quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches.

MJQR offers a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to explore complex societal transformations through empirical investigation, theoretical reflection, and methodological innovation.
The journal particularly welcomes research that is grounded in, or relevant to, Morocco, Africa, the MENA region, and more broadly, the Global South.

MJQR actively encourages submissions that contribute to:

  • Theoretical advancements in social sciences

  • Policy design and evaluation

  • Social innovation and community development

  • Sustainability science and societal resilience

  • Education, pedagogy, and digital learning adoption

  • Digital transformation and technological impacts

  • Territorial, cultural, and identity-based dynamics

The journal places a strong emphasis on social impact, equity, inclusion, and sustainability, welcoming contributions that inform policy, practice, and future research.

In addition to empirical studies, MJQR welcomes synthesis and review articles—including systematic reviews, scoping and mapping reviews, bibliometric analyses, meta-analyses, and theoretical literature reviews—as long as they are grounded in the social sciences and contribute to advancing knowledge, identifying research gaps, or informing future research.
