4. Description Abstract

Abstract

In order to model the thermal stability of the epoxy-based matrix of the conventional DGEBA resin, following many formulations. The first series of formulations is based on the mixture of the Diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A (DGEBA) and the Diglycidylether of 4,4 - dihydroxydiphenyl sulfone (DGEDDS) cross-linked by dianiline  methylene (MDA) as the curing agent. In the second series of formulations, we used two different percentages charges, mineral Al2O3 and Zn and their mixture in the system DGEBA/MDA. We used the model QSPR to connect properties with descriptions and to evaluate the different thermal degradation of the conventional matrix DGEBA characteristically formulated by the macromolecular, inorganic and metal matrix respectively DGEDDS, Al2O3 and Zn, calculated using quantum chemistry presented by Gaussian 03 tools. These energy parameters that are calculated by MM2.
