About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Moroccan Journal of Condensed Matter publishes research in the field of Condensed Matter and statistical physics.
Condensed Matter deals with the physical properties of condensed phases of matter, like solids and fluids phases and also mesophases of liquid crystal devices, the superconducting phase exhibited by certain materials at low temperature, the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic phases of spins on atomic lattices, and the Bose-Einstein condensate found in certain ultracold atomic systems.
Statistical physics explain the behavior of macroscopic systems by studying the statistical properties of their microscopic constituents.
Statistical physics has a great number of applications in different domains, in particular applications to physical systems such as solids, liquids and gases; applications to chemical and biological systems (colloids, interfaces, complex fluids, polymers and biopolymers, cell physics); and other interdisciplinary applications to biological, economical and sociological systems.
