Abstract

Pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine, a heterocyclic structure consisting of pyrazole and pyrimidine fragments, has become a subject of significant interest in the fields of bioorganic and medicinal chemistry. Derivatives of pyrazolo[4,3-d]pyrimidine exhibit a wide range of pharmacological activities, including anti-SARS-CoV-2, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antidiabetic, antiproliferative, and herbicidal properties. This literature review provides an overview of the research conducted on pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine derivatives between 2017 and 2022.
