Abstract

Two 4-amino-1,2,4-triazoles-3-thiones and two 1,3,4-oxadiazoles-2-thiones derived from two long chain fatty acids saturated «palmitic acid» and unsaturated «oleic acid» are obtained in a common synthetic route. For the oleic acid derivatives, a hydrogenation of the carbon-carbon double bond by hydrazidation of the intermediate oleic hydrazide under atmospheric air is implemented. New palladium complexes, derived from these 4-amino-1,2,4-triazoles and 1,3,4-oxadiazoles, are obtained and characterized by elemental analysis (solid state), IR, 1H, 13C NMR spectroscopy, XRD and XPS. These resulting metallic entities are also identified in solution based in mass spectrometry (MS-ESI) experimental data.
