EVALUATION DE LA STRATEGIE REGIONALE D’INCLUSION FINANCIERE DANS L’UEMOA

Résumé

Cette étude propose une évaluation de la stratégie régionale d’inclusion financière mise en œuvre dans les pays de l'UEMOA et une analyse de l’impact du mobile money sur l’indice d’inclusion financière dans ces pays. Après la construction de l’indice d’inclusion financière grâce à la méthode d’analyse en composantes principales (ACP), nous estimons un modèle de panel dynamique. Les résultats confirment une contribution significative de la stratégie régionale d’inclusion financière (SRIF) dans la réalisation de l'inclusion financière dans l'UEMOA. Les variables du mobile money jouent également un rôle prépondérant dans la réalisation de l’inclusion financière de même que le taux d'intérêt des emprunts, la masse monétaire en circulation dans le pays et le nombre d’agences bancaires.
