About the Journal

JIS (Journal of Information Sciences) was created by the School of Information Sciences (ESI) in order to provide a framework for researchers and information professionals to publicize their scientific work. It is a scientific, multilingual journal which aims to disseminate throughout Morocco and the world the results of the scientific research of teachers, professionals and students in the field of information sciences.
This name reflects a desire to make it a means of communication commensurate with the diversity and interdisciplinarity that characterize the field of information sciences, an instrument for the dissemination of scientific knowledge, data, results of research, professional experiences and reflections from other horizons. The journal publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed original papers, review papers and short communications on information sciences and related disciplines. Our objective is to promote academic research without exclusion, through a series of scientific contributions, and to participate in the development of this discipline by the diffusion of related knowledge.
