4. Description Abstract

Forest resources are being degraded more and more because of both natural and anthropogenic factors. Anthropogenic factors are the aggravating causes of the deterioration of forest formations. Bushfires are one of the factors of average Casamance fire degradation. The objective of this study is to analyze the dynamics of bushfires during the last 10 years. The research methodology is based on surveys, interviews and a mapping of the evolution of fires. The results showed that fires are common, numerous and from various authors. A decrease is observed but measures must be taken
