Treatment of mycoses by essential oils: Mini Review
Abstract
Fungi are microscopic organisms that are widely present in our environment, and because of their development and multiplication, they because infections called mycose. Fungal infections are located in the different parts of the body of which we speak of cutaneous (muguet, onychomycosis, athlete's feet...) and systemic (candidiasis, aspergillosis and cryptococcosis) fungal infections. Significant progress is being made on discovering a safe and effective treatment, in order to reduce the effect of mycoses. This review highlights the developments in mycoses strategies and reviews the potential of herbal drugs as safer and effective alternatives.
