Capital-investissement et financement de l’innovation : Une revue de la littérature

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to review studies dealing with innovation in the context of private equity. Based on our literature review, we note the role of private equity in fostering innovation and growth in Small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). Thus, venture capital is early financing for innovative firms (seed and start-up stage). Although in the case of buy-out financing, investment criteria used by investors are based on the evaluation process of the innovation capacities according to the firm growth scenario expected.
