This study is an attempt to investigate the perceptions of ENSAM students towards learning English for specific purposes (ESP). To achieve this aim, the study employed a quantitative approach. A Likert scale-based questionnaire was adopted from Arslan and Akbarov (2012) and administered to 93 (38 female and 55 male) Moroccan students from l’ École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers in Meknes. The research data was generated and analyzed using SPSS. Statistical analysis revealed that the majority of ENSAM students showed great interest in English courses and recognized the importance of English skills for their studies and future career activities. The study implied that promoting a holistic approach, that combines classroom instruction with self-directed learning opportunities institutions, can further increase the effectiveness and relevance of English language instruction for learners of ESP.
