The integration of psychology into behavioral finance has made it possible to find behavioral biases in the individual. Overconfidence is one of these biases that affects strategic decision-making and promotes the commitment of leaders in innovative projects. In this respect, the objective of this work is to study the effect of over confidence on the innovative investment of companies. We use a quantitative study based on a questionnaire administered to a sample of 42 companies in the region of Souss Massa. To model the relationship between the variables, we used PLS regression through the Smart PLS software. The results show that overconfidence has a positive effect on innovation in these companies.
