Résumé

Use-wear analysis became one of the main approaches for studying lithics. It may allow to better understand technics of manufacture as well as to determine worked materials and different tasks realized by Human groups in the site which could have several indications about their technical, social and sometimes symbolic behaviors.

In this paper, we explain the methodology of the creation of a systematic use-wear analysis protocol for studying lithic tools that start from lithic raw material procurement and finished by the microscopic study in the laboratory.
