Abstract

This article delves into the intersection of digital transition and the valorization of real estate heritage, with a specific focus on the city of Casablanca. Drawing upon data collected from a sample of 50 architects, the study examines how the adoption of digital technologies influences the perception, preservation, and promotion of the city's architectural heritage. The findings reveal that the digitization of mapping processes, especially in standardizing the representation of heritage buildings, plays a pivotal role in elevating the city's cultural identity, strengthening its economic growth, and enhancing tourism development. Through an exploration of the symbiotic relationship between digitalization and heritage valorization, this research sheds light on the transformative potential of technology in shaping urban landscapes and fostering sustainable socio-economic progress.
