The possibility of the two heavy metal ion elimination by a new Schiff base, with the copolymerization of their complex compounds, has been described theoretically. The system’s behavior has been depicted and analyzed, by means of linear stability and bifurcation theories. It was shown that both complex formation and copolymerization may influence the double electric layer, provoking the oscillatory behavior. Nevertheless, the steady-state is easy to stabilize and maintain so. The technique may yield a new material, capable to be used as electrode modifier for different purposes.
