Abstract


Indonesia's experience in Islamic financing

Indonesia's experience in Islamic financing severed important results, it could inspire morocco as model for the valuable intervention of Mr. Junawan Yasceni vice president of the University Tazkia in Indonesia, I want to add some clarifications concerning the following points:

-Indonesia's experience in Islamic Finance: participatory banks started its activities since the   beginning of the nineties of the last century. Then evolved in parallel with the implementation of juridic and organizational bases. The evolution rates's of this emerging industry exceeded traditional banking one during the last 20 years.

-National Shariah Board of Indonesia: established since the beginning of the islamic banking system in the country. It comprises a group of Ulemas and profesionals belonging to the Indonesian Ulema Council.  It issues fatwas regularizing islamic finance activities.

-Financial Services Authority functions: is autonomous government agency which regulates and supervises the financial services sector. It’s devided on two departement. Islamic banks on one hand and takaful companies and the stock market on the other hand.
