The mathematical description of isoproturonelectrooxidation and polymerization of its product, assisted by cobalt (III) oxyhydroxide

Abstract


The possibility of CoO(OH)-assisted isoproturon electrochemical determination by the CoO(OH)-assisted polymerization of its hydrolysis product, assisted by cobalt (III) oxyhydroxide, has been evaluated. It was shown that the oscillatory behavior in this case is less probable than in the classical electropolymerization cases, due to the lower quantity of electrochemical stages in the process. The stable steady-state is easy to obtain and maintain, which makes the system electroanalytically and electrosynthetically efficient.
