Modeling by Methodology of Response Surface of Experimental Design the Physical Properties of Cementitious Materials at Base of Different Percentages of Pure Limestone

Abstract


The aim of our work is to determine using the methodology of response surface of experimental design, a set of predictive models as a function of the proportion of the components of the formulated materials based on mineral additions. A second-degree polynomial model was therefore used to model the influence of two key parameters related to the water content and the initial and final setting time of mixing. The factors examined in this study are the calcium oxide and the silicon dioxide.

Our study has two essential phases: the first one, which aims to determine the main physical and mechanical characteristics of materials used, the choice of the method of formulation and the realization of the various mixes in the field of our study.

And the last one, which aims to establish of mathematical models that allow predicting the workability of the cementitious material as well as its physical properties by highlighting correlations and the interactions between the different constituents with the NimrodW software.
